- Among the largest steel complexes in South and Southwest China.

Products:
Liuzhou produces a wide variety, including but not limited to:
- Hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled coils, galvanized coils
- Medium and thick plates, ribbed steel bars, wire rods, rebar, round bars, stainless steel coils etc.
- They are also expanding into higher-grade and specialty steels (ships, bridges, appliance, auto steels) as markets demand.

Hot-rolled sheet and strip

primarily range in thickness from 1.2 to 25.4 mm and in width from 800 to 1830 mm.
Major products include low-alloy steel, container plate, automotive steel, weathering and acid-resistant steel, pipeline steel, ship plate, and high-quality carbon steel.
These products are widely used in the automotive, machinery, shipbuilding, bridge, construction, and pipeline transportation industries.

Cold-rolled sheet and strip

primarily range in thickness from 0.3 to 3.0 mm and in width from 900 to 1600 mm.
Major products include low-carbon steel, deep-drawing steel, low-alloy steel, duplex steel, enameled steel, various galvanized sheet grades, slide rail steel, oil drum steel, welding wire steel, and precision welded pipe steel. Mild steel grades can reach DC06, and high-strength steel grades can reach 980 MPa. We also produce hot-rolled pickled sheet with thicknesses from 1.6 to 6.0 mm and widths from 1000 to 1600 mm.
This product is widely used in the home appliance, automotive, construction, furniture, and electrical industries.

Medium and heavy plate

specifications range from 6.0 to 180 mm in thickness and 1500 to 2700 mm in width.
Major varieties include high-strength structural steel, carbon plate and alloy mold steel, steel for shipbuilding and offshore engineering, weathering and acid-resistant steel, bridge steel, high-rise construction steel, and pipeline steel.
Our products are widely used in industries such as engineering machinery, mold processing, shipbuilding, bridges, high-rise buildings, pipeline transportation, and pressure vessels.

Our rods and wire profiles

primarily include hot-rolled ribbed steel bars, hot-rolled round bars, pile rebar, high-quality carbon steel wire rod, high-carbon steel wire rod, prestressed steel strand, cord steel wire rod, spring steel wire rod, cold-headed steel wire rod, wire drawing wire rod, and round bar.
Industrial long products are widely used in industries such as wire drawing, stranded wire, gears, automotive parts, standard fasteners, and shafts.

Zhongjin Stainless Steel

offers two types of austenitic stainless steel cold-rolled and hot-rolled coils: Cr-Mn and Cr-Ni.
They are widely used in elevator decoration, building decoration, home appliances, medical devices, kitchenware and bathroom fixtures, metal products, machinery and equipment, automotive parts, rail transportation, and other related fields using stainless steel as a raw material.

Modernization / Product Upgrades:
- In August 2025, Liuzhou Steel planned a RMB 300 million raise (≈ USD 42 million) directed stock issue for technical upgrades to their 2,800 mm medium plate production line.
- This upgrade includes renovation of heating furnaces, addition of slab processing, structural factory building renovations.
New Furnaces / Silicomanganese Project:
- Completed the first furnace for a 300,000 tpa silicomanganese project, part of its green manganese materials upgrade/transformation.
Stainless Steel Cold-Roll Project:
- “Zhongjin of Liuzhou Iron & Steel” is planning a stainless steel cold-rolling project of 350,000 tons annual capacity, involving bright-annealing coil, stainless 2E finished products.
Strategic Moves / Consolidation:
- In 2019, Liuzhou Steel bought a significant stake (~27.78%) in Guangxi Iron & Steel Group as part of provincial/consolidation moves.

Geographic Position: Being in Guangxi gives Liuzhou Steel certain locational advantages for access to ASEAN markets and seaborne raw material supply.
